Discover Ithaka

The legendary homeland of Odysseus — a green island of pristine beaches, mountain villages, and authentic Ionian life.

The Island

Mythical, Untouched, Unforgettable

Ithaka is one of the smallest inhabited Ionian Islands — quieter than Kefalonia, more authentic than Zakynthos, and steeped in Homeric legend. With fewer tourists than its neighbours, it offers an experience that feels genuinely yours.

Beaches

Ionian Blue

Crystal-clear coves and white-pebble shores — each one a private paradise.

Filiatro Beach

Turquoise water framed by green hills — one of Ithaka's most photographed spots. A mix of pebbles and sand with shallow entry, suitable for families.

Gidaki Beach

Accessible by boat or a 40-minute hike from the road, this remote white-pebble beach rewards the adventurous traveler with pristine water.

Dexa Beach

A sheltered pebble cove near Vathi, perfect for a quick morning swim. Calm water and easy access make it ideal for a spontaneous dip.

Sarakiniko Beach

A peaceful stretch with clear water and a backdrop of olive groves. Less visited than Filiatro, offering genuine tranquility.
